For the month of November, I decided to increase the weekday rental price from $41.00 to $43.00 and the weekend price from $34.00 to $35.00. With Thanksgiving, I figured more people would be flying in and needing rental cars. With this price adjustment, revenue for Universal in Orlando grew $1,132,101; increasing total revenue from $25,755,280 to $26,887,381! Additionally, for the month of November, net income was $4,715,089.
MIAMI:
The weekday rental price in Miami was increased from $46.00 to $47.00 and the weekend price was increased from $36.00 to $37.00. By doing this, total revenue increased by $627,620 from $15,353,296 to $15,980,916. Net income for Universal in Miami was $1,328,893.
The price adjustments for November proved to be a success.
